The start box for a single person is a mobile room whose only function is to start a period of time.
The location determines the route. The front doors, which are under tension, are kept closed by a compass rose. It is part of a simple opening mechanism that can be operated from inside. The running direction of the box is at right angles to the starting direction. It is possible to be inside the box and move it, but only sideways to the start direction. It is possible to start.
As part of the 2006 exhibition, the video Compassare was created, in which a person moves through the room in the start box.

Die Startbox für eine Person ist ein mobiler Raum, dessen einzige Funktion es ist einen Zeitraum zu beginnen.
Der Standort bestimmt die Strecke. Die unter Spannung stehenden Vordertüren werden von einer Windrose verschlossen gehalten. Sie bildet den Abschluss eines einfachen Öffnungsmechanismus, der von innen zu betätigen ist. Die Laufrichtung der Box steht im rechten Winkel zur Startrichtung. Es ist möglich sich in der Box zu befinden und diese zu bewegen, allerdings nur seitlich zur Startrichtung. Es ist möglich zu starten.
Im Rahmen der Ausstellung 2006 entstand das Video Compassare, in dem eine Person sich in der Startbox durch den Raum bewegt.
